2012 Lotus Exige S Duel Video
We’ve run a story or two on the 2012 Lotus Exige S – the one with the V6 from the Evora – in the run up to its reveal at Frankfurt. But now we get video too. An advert of any sort – even a promo video – is quite unusual for Lotus, but this is the second time this year we’ve seen a Lotus shedding rubber to entice buyers to see the products from Hethel as a viable option.
Nico Rosberg pips Lewis Hamilton to pole in Bahrain. It’s already staring to look like Mercedes is going to dominate F1 in 2014, and the performance of the two Mercedes in qualifying for the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix did nothing to change that. Essentially a duel between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, it was Rosberg’s turn to take pole position with Lewis Hamilton having to settle for second place on the grid after driving too deep in to a corner on his last flying lap and giving up the fight to take pole from his team mate. It was Rosberg’s second successive pole in Bahrain.
Winners in the fourth Chinese Auto Design Awards have finally been announced. Held at the China Agriculture Film and Television Center in Beijing, the glamourous ceremony saw awards given to two groups; students and automotive manufacturers. Amongst the automotive groups, it was GAC Trumpchi that was awarded the ‘Best Design Innovation Award', whilst Buick's picked up the ‘Golden Dot Award' for its ‘Envision' concept car.
